Class Information

At Rebel Manifesto we offer a range of classes, so whether you are a complete beginner who has never even heard of aerial before, or someone who has been doing aerial since they could walk, we have a class for you!

Adult Aerial Classes

Our adult classes range from complete beginners classes right up to professional level. Again we are not a competitive environment. Anyone is welcome. We have a syllabus that can be followed. Every individual is encouraged at their own pace. There are options to progress if students wish to.

Classes are an hour. A brisk warm up followed by a skill based class across multiple types of equipment (including aerial hoop, silks, trapeze, aerial rope and unique aerial shapes). These are regular weekly classes booked in blocks of 4 classes at a time.

Youth Aerial Classes

Our Rebel Youth classes are 1 hour classes, suitable for ages 8-16 years.

We maintain a non competitive environment throughout all of our sessions. Concentrating on building confidence and encouraging a team atmosphere. Warms up and exercises are about having fun. Then we build on strength and agility through creative and skill led exercises.

Rebel Minis

Rebel Minis classes are 1 hour classes for children aged 4-7 years.

These classes focus on play and exploration through physicality and imagination. Learning the basics for aerial in a fun environment, this class is a great stepping stone for our Rebel Youth classes.

Aerial Move

Our Aerial Move classes are a gentler approach to aerial.

This class shouldn’t be mistaken for a yoga class. We take a more relaxed and position holding approach to learning aerial. Using basic yoga positions to build strength and control to assist with aerial.

Private Classes

Private classes are for those who want that little extra one to one time. For example if you are working on routines or just want to push yourself in a more concentrated environment.

Booking an initial private class is also a great way to get introduced to aerial if you’re feeling a bit nervous or just wanted to try aerial before committing to the weekly classes.

Workshops

Each month at Rebel Manifesto Aerial we put on a range of interesting workshops and drop-in sessions that you can book individually.

These include classes such as Hoop Flow (where you learn a whole hoop routine and work on performance and transitions), Adult Beginners Ballet, Adult Contemporary Dance, Lyrical Dance, Stretch Class, Silks Workshop, Strop Routine Class, Aerial Hoop Improv Masterclass, Gentle Hoop Flow, and our newest additions of Pole and Lollipop. We also have guest teachers come in for classes such as Dynamic Hoop, Doubles Trapeze and Fire Hoop!

Open Mat

Open Mat sessions at Rebel Manifesto Aerial are sessions where students can train independently. These sessions are not instructor-led and instead are for you to work on perfecting moves learned in lessons, practice flows or work on conditioning exercises.

Open Mat sessions are only for existing students who have had some aerial training.
